WR Refrigeration is Named Contractor of the Year 2012 in National Magazine Awards

WR Refrigeration has been named Contractor of the Year 2012 in the prestigious ACR News Awards.

The company was presented with the top national award at a glittering evening held alongside the ACR Show, at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

It follows the recent accolade in the CIBSE 2012 Awards, when WR Refrigeration won the Collaborative Working Award for its project to install a new state-of-the-art carbon dioxide-based refrigeration system at Harrods' flagship store in London.

Receiving the latest award, Mike Nicholas, said: "I am delighted to accept this on behalf of the dedicated, professional and passionate teams that make up WR Refrigeration.

"It reflects a hugh amount of work and commitment across the company.  It is very gratifying to be recognised by the industry in this way, and demonstrates the strides we are making in being responsive and agile in meeting the changing needs of customers and the market."

The judges praised WR Refrigeration for its leadership, vision and commitment in delivering practical solutions that were both good for the environment and made commercial sense.
