WR Refrigeration has won two major national awards in the UK cooling industry's most prestigious awards.
We won the award for Environmental Collaboration of the Year for a joint entry with food retailer Wm Morrisons, for establishing the European CO2 Refrigeration Training Academy, based at Minworth Birmingham.

We also landed the award for Training Initiative of the Year for the Academy and its pioneering approach to training engineers - including our own and those from other companies - in new green refrigeration technology.

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held last night at The Hilton on London's Park Lane, attended by more than 600 leading lights from the industry and retail sector.
Receiving the awards on behalf of WR Refrigeration, Patrick Mullins, Business Development & Marketing Director, said "We are obviously delighted to have been recognised - and not once but twice - in these prestigious national awards.
"It reflects the tremendous teamwork and professionalism of WR's people at all levels, and the close and highly productive working relationship we have with our customers. We will not be resting on our laurels, however, and are already well advanced in our plans to develop our expertise and offering in the field of green, high efficiency refrigeration plant - now being requested by major UK end user retailers."

WR Refrigeration also sponsored the award for Large End User of the Year. The award was presented by our Operations Director, Calum Shaw, to Wm Morrisons.
